Adding a property's details gives your rent review the full, up-to-date picture it needs — it's quick to fill in.

How to Add Property Information to a Rent Review

1. Open the rent review and access property editing

Go to the relevant Rent Review record.

Find the property you want to update (example shown: 13 Clapham Common North).

Use either of these options to start editing:

  • Edit property features
  • Edit at the top of the page

The screen is split into two sections:

  • Tenancy information
  • Property information

2. Fill in the property details

Enter the property’s internal identifiers:

  • Unique property number
  • Property reference

Add the property type and features:

  • Example: Flat
  • Bedrooms: 2
  • Bathrooms: 2
  • Furniture: No furniture

Add external features if applicable:

  • Private drive: Yes
  • Garden: No

3. Enter size and build information

Add the property’s floor space.

Example shown: 76 square metres

The system will automatically convert and display the equivalent square footage.

Select the property’s build period / age band.

Example shown: 2007 to 2011 (new build)

4. Save the changes

Click Save once all property information has been entered.

Return to the Next Steps tab to confirm the information has been saved.

The property information section should now be cleared/updated, indicating the entry was successful.
