Use demo links to preview tenant and landlord views

The demo links let you see exactly what landlords and tenants see, so you're ready when they call with a question.

1. Open the Demo Links section in Settings

Go to Settings.

Scroll down to Demo Links.

This area contains the different link stages a tenant or landlord may receive.

2. Review the Landlord Proposal page

Start with the Landlord Proposal link, which is the first email link sent out.

When opened, it shows:

• Tenancy information
• Changes in legislation
• Access to the evidence pack
• The proposed rent

The landlord can then choose one of the available actions:

• Accept Recommended Rent
• Propose a Different Rent
• Defer into a Different Rate

3. Move to the negotiation options after acceptance

If the landlord accepts the rent, they are taken to the negotiation options page.

This page shows the settlement amount the landlord is willing to negotiate to.

Example shown:

• Proposed rent: £1,350.00/month
• Suggested negotiation floor: £1,250.00/month

4. Adjust the settlement floor if needed

If the landlord wants a different negotiation limit, they can change the settlement floor.

Example:

• Instead of negotiating down to £1,250.00/month
• They may set the floor to £1,300.00/month

The system shows a notification with the percentage increase this represents.

5. Review the summary and submit

After choosing the settlement floor, click Next.

Review the summary of:

• What was agreed
• The decision made

Click Submit to send the response back to the property manager.

6. Use the other demo links to preview tenant or offer-response views

You can also click through the other demo links.

This lets you see:

• What the tenant sees
• What happens in an offer response flow

Useful for understanding what clients may be looking at when they call with questions.
