# How the Next Steps Tab Works for Rent Reviews

The Next Steps tab shows exactly what's left to do on a rent review and takes you straight there, so nothing slips through.

## 1. Open the rent review and review the next steps tab

Go to Rent Reviews.

Open the property you want to work on.

The Next Steps tab shows what still needs to be completed for that rent review.

In this example, the property has many missing details, so there are lots of suggested next steps.

## 2. Use next steps to identify missing information

The Next Steps list is a checklist of what has not yet been done.

It highlights missing tenancy and property information.

Examples shown here:

Current rent has not been entered.

Rent frequency has not been entered.

Tenancy start date has not been entered.

## 3. Use the action links to go where the work needs to be done

The Next Steps tab tells you what is missing.

The Actions take you to the place where you can complete that information.

This makes it easy to move directly to the right section instead of searching manually.

## 4. Edit the tenancy details to complete the missing fields

Click Edit Tenancy Details from the Next Steps area.

You can also use the Edit button at the top.

Fill in the missing tenancy information step by step.

Once the required details are entered, you can continue through the rent review process.

## 5. Finish the rent review once all steps are complete

After completing the missing information, the rent review can be finished quickly.

The Next Steps tab helps you work through the process in order.

This ensures nothing is missed before the rent review is completed.
